Tajumulco Volcano
Climb the highest point in Central America. Sunrise or sunset on the summit of Chmanwitz, “The Grandfather”.
About the experience
Chmanwitz, The Grandfather, rises to 4,220 meters above sea level. Its landscapes rebuild dreams and renew energy, offering a fresh perspective on the restart that comes from feeling alive in the presence of the Alpha or the Omega: sunset or sunrise.
We offer two options: the direct ascent (a straight climb to reach the summit at sunrise or sunset) and the camping ascent (a night on the mountain under one of the clearest skies in Guatemala).
